Also known as H. H. Portmann, has logged oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico, worked on the US Army’s Pershing Tactical Nuclear Missile System during the Cold War in Europe, hunted for Soviet submarines and worked to hide our own submarines, and operated weather, climate, and Tsunami buoys over the world’s oceans. He lives in southeastern Louisiana with his wife Julie, son Alex, rescued husky Gabriel and adopted cat sisters Pearl and Amethyst, while doing woodworking and writing some cool stories based on his real-life adventures.
