NATO Catches Russia Red-Handed Near Svalbard

Recent reporting on Russian underwater operations near Svalbard shows how quickly a fictional thriller scenario could become reality.
I continually monitor developments regarding Svalbard – here is a website I came across that confirms that the storyline in my fourth book, “TARGET: SVALBARD” is not far-fetched – but could actually happen in the not-too-distant future!

Buried in some of the videos is the fear that Putin may invade and take Svalbard in a night operation while simultaneously cutting off the undersea cables that connect Svalbard to Norway and the rest of the world.
Russia could do this to test the resolve of NATO, rather than take the riskier approach of invading a NATO member on the European continent.
